Was used by Akarana Air Ltd., Auckland, Helicopter Training Ltd., Rotorua, and Helicopter Specialties Ltd., Auckland. Substantially damaged 8 July 1977 in a collision incident with Cook Island Airways BN-2A Is;lander ZK-MCD whilst taxying at Auckland Airport; pilot S Hudson
Aircraft repaired and returned to service: to Vanuatu in 1982 as YJ-RV14. There is a video of this aircraft being placed into the ocean as an artificial reef off Port Vila, Vanuatu around December 2009.
