Narrative:The helicopter, carrying a pilot and 3 biologists from the California Dept of Fish and Game, crashed in a canyon after clipping a power line while surveying deer herds. All four occupants sustained fatal injuries. The aircraft was burned out.
The accident occurred in the Sierra National Forest, near the border of Fresno and Madera Counties.
