Mosquito HJ674: Took off at 19:10 hrs for patrol over the supply routes of Bologna/Oiacenza area. 06/02/1944
The aircraft was hit the flak during a strafe attack the Sorbolo bridge. Missing.
The plane crashed in flames at 20:45 hrs in a field near the bridge Sorbolo, 10km NE of Parma.
The mosquito wreck was in a field near the bridge. The port engine lies in the river bed, about 300 meters from the wreck. In the same day, the Germans pick up any bit of the plane, especially guns, shells and engines
