Aircraft crashed on night of November 30 1989 less than 1 mile from small town of Effeldorf (a district of the city Dettelbach in Lower Franconian district of Kitzingen) West Germany, during single ship Nigh Vision Goggles training, hitting the top guide wire on a 350 feet set of power lines. Of the two crew on board, one - CW2 Gregg J. Plympton [Pilot] - was killed. THe un-named Air Observer was injured
