Written of (destroyed) 28-04-1964 when crashed near Santa Cruz, CA: per the NTSB report "pilot in command continued VFR flight into adverse weather conditions". At the time of the crash, there was fog with visibility of 3 miles of less. Both persons on board (pilot and one passanger) were killed
