Descripción:
As the aircraft flew through a severe thunderstorm, both wings separated from the fuselage, causing the Douglas C-47B to crash in the jungle north of the Bramaputra River.

The aircraft's msn was 20803 or 20805. One of these aircraft was CNAC's 101, the other 102.
