Descripción:
The C-47 took off from Pittsburgh-Greater Pittsburgh Airport, PA (PIT) on a night time proficiency training flight. Reportedly one of the engines failed during the flight. The airplane clipped trees, crashed and burst into flames.

A USAF C-47 with serial 44-76663 (msn 32995) is known to have crashed on January 10, 1962. However, airframe history suggests that this plane was based with 6314 Wing at Osan, Korea at the time.
