Peruvian Airlines flight 112 from Lima-Jorge Chavez International departed at 16:03 (local time) on a short domestic flight to Jauja Francisco Carlé Airport in Peru.
After touchdown on runway 31 the airplane apparently veered off the right side of the runway. According to the airport authority, CORPAC, the right hand wing of the aircraft impacted the perimeter fence.
Fuel began leaking from the wing and ignited. The passengers and crew members evacuated safely whilst the fire spread, consuming the fuselage.
