Narrative:
DH.60X Seaplane [Cirrus II]: to Dominion Airways, Canada with CofA 1164 issued 5.7.27. Registered G-CAHS [C of R 315] 22.8.27 to Dominion Airways Ltd, Vancouver; named "Elsie" - used for forest patrol work.

Written off when crashed into English Bay, Vancouver 19.3.28: Student pilot (flying solo) lost control and dived into the bay. Pilot killed. Cause attributed to the Student pilot, with insufficient experience, attempting to perform a solo training flight which proved to be beyond his capabilities.
