Stall/spin accident. The safety harnesses of both occupants were unfastened, indicating that they were attempting to bail out.
Mary E. Hartson, Women Airforce Service Pilots and Staff Sergeant Orville Eitzen, US Army Air Force both killed. R.I.P.
