PROBABLE CAUSE: THE PILOT'S FAILURE TO MAINTAIN ADEQUATE ALTITUDE DURING AN INTENTIONALLY PERFORMED LOW ALTITUDE FLIGHT IN MOUNTAINOUS TERRAIN. CONTRIBUTING FACTORS RELATED TO THE PILOT'S VISUAL PERCEPTION OF THE CANYON AREA BECAUSE OF CHANGES IN THE AMBIENT LIGHTING CONDITIONS AND SHADOWS.
