PROBABLE CAUSE:THE PILOT INADVERTENTLY BECAME LOST AND DISORIENTED AND DELAYED IN OBTAINING HELP FROM THE FLIGHT SERVICE STATION, WHICH RESULTED IN FUEL EXHAUSTION.
