Written off (damaged beyond repair) when hit trees in snowstorm at Hidden Lake, 26 miles East-North-East of Yellowknife, North Western Territories 4.12.45.

Only pilot on board, no passenger. My grandfather was watching from the ground and witnessed the accident. My great uncle Percy White was the pilot. They were rescued by Wop May (Wilfrid Reid "Wop" May, OBE, DFC, 1896-1952) in a Norseman after 2 days.

Registered as G-CAVH [C of R 500] 10.9.28 to International Airways of Canada Ltd, Toronto. Sold (but not re-registered) 12.6.30 to Capt. F.G.M. Sparks, [Managing Director of Flying & Services Ltd], Montreal. Sold (but not re-registered) 7.7.30 to Flying & Services Ltd, Montreal. Fitted with Gipsy I engine.

Registered [C of R 942] 29.7.30 to W.N. Birks [of Henry Birks & Sons Ltd], Montreal. Registration cancelled as 'lapsed' 1932. Registration restored [C of R 1269] 2.5.33 to same owner. Re-registered [C of R 1279] 26.5.33 to G H Trenholme, Lachine, Quebec. Registration cancelled as 'lapsed' 22.1.39.
