Narrative:
Writren off May 18, 1976 when crashed near Petersburg, Alaska: aircraft flew into the ground due to loss of control for undetermined reason. However, the official NTSB report also alludes that the pilot may have continued a VFR flight in conditions that were more suited to IFR flight. ("PILOT IN COMMAND - CONTINUED VFR FLIGHT INTO ADVERSE WEATHER CONDITIONS").

All six persons on board (pilot and five passengers) were killed. The aircraft was destroyed in a post impact fire. However, the registration not cancelled by the FAA until August 27, 2012 - 36 years later(!)
