Adquirido por la empresa A Eagle Oil & Shipping Co Ltd era una compañía de Shell México con Cof A 3976 operando del 3 de julio del año 1933. Equipado con motor Gipsy Major 5241. Registrado en la Argentina con el registro R-241 desde el 25 de septiembre del año 1933 a nombre de la empresa Shell Mex Argentina Ltda; llamado con el nombre de "Gavilan del Plata". Este avión fue volado por Colin Abbott de Shell sobre los Andes desde Mendoza a Santiago de Chile y regreso alrededor del mes de mayo del año 1935, alcanzando 14.200 pies de altura. Todavía era propiedad de Shell México cuando fue destruido en un incendio en el hangar de San Fernando, provincia de Buenos Aires el 25 de noviembre del año 1937 a las 07:30hs en el Campo Curtiss de Aviación, debido a un corto circuito, rápidamente creció el fuego lo que ocasiono la destrucción de ocho aviones que se encontraban en su interior. La policía detuvo al sereno el Sr Marcos Giobani Aolerbo ya que era la única persona que se encontraba en el hangar en el momento del incendio.
Reparado y rematriculado como LV-HBA en el mes de enero del año 1938. Baja definitiva el 1 de julio del año 1938.
