Ex-USAF 98-0215, delivered to Bahrain under FMS Program Peace Crown II in September 2000. Written off 27 September 2005 when crashed 46 miles north of Bahrain over the Gulf at night.

It is thought that the pilot, Lieutenant Colonel Abdulaziz Snan Al Dossary became disorientated during manoeuvres. As far as is known, he did not attempt to eject, and was killed in the crash.

First operational (and possibly only) loss of an F-16 in Bahrain service
