Crashed 17/07/1948: Spitfire LF16 SL543 of 614 (County of Glamorgan) Squadron, Royal Auxiliary Air Force, belly-landed at RAF Llandow, South Glamorgan when the pilot forgot to lower the undercarriage. Flying accident Cat. AC, but not repaired: re-cat as E2 and struck off charge on 19/11/48.
