Narrative:
The helicopter of the Egyptian Army crashed while battling Islamic militants in the northern Sinai Peninsula. The crew of five died in the crash.
The militant group Ansar Bait al-Maqdis (ABM) shot down the helicopter flying at low altitude using MANPADS.
