Enroute to Sun 'n Fun 2014, the aircraft, an experimental Watkins built Velocity, experienced a runway overrun upon landing at Lakeland Linder Regional Airport (KLAL), Lakeland, Florida. The airplane sustained minor damage and the three occupants onboard were not injured.
