El 15 de noviembre del año 1947 se le había cambiado el registro por 2-P-14, comenzando a realizar pruebas del sistema RATO en el agua. EI 18 de abril del año 1949 durante la maniobra de acuatizaje en la Bahía de Ushuaia, toco la superficie del agua con un flotador, tras Io cual golpeó violentamente la quilla causando una importante vía de agua. La aeronave quedó semi-sumergida durante tres días. Se desmontaron las alas por considerarse recuperables, pero se incendiaron accidentalmente el 23 de octubre del año 1949, quedando destruidas. El Avión quedo desactivado por Orden General N°257/49, con un total de 1676 Hrs de vuelo.
