Destruido tras accidentarse, en Caseros, provincia de Buenos Aires, el 15 de julio del año 1952, falleciendo sus dos tripulantes, aproximadamente a las 11:30 hora local, mientras realizaba un vuelo de entrenamiento, formando parte de una escuadrilla junto a otros dos similares, al efectuar un cambio en la formación y entrar en una zona turbulenta, cae invertido desde 1000 pies aproximadamente, cerca de Caseros, Buenos Aires, habiendo despegado desde la VII Brigada Aérea de Morón, el IAe-24 Calquín matrícula A -57, falleciendo en el acto sus dos tripulantes; Piloto: Alférez Adolfo AGOSTINELLI (Promoción XVII de EAM egresado el 10 de diciembre de 1951). Mecánico: Cabo Mayor Julio Germinal BREA.
