El día Jueves 3 de abril de 1947 en horarios no mencionados, el avión Miles Magister MK I registro LV-LV-XPS, c/n 1018, perteneciente a Secretaría de Estado de Aeronáutica, cuyos tripulantes eran, el piloto Suboficial Instructor Rubén Cintora estando acompañado del Dr Atilio Lucio Aranda; habían despegado del aeródromo de Aero Club la provincia de Neuquén, estaban volando en los campos cercanos al Aero Club. El avión se estrelló por causas que se desconocen, con la consecuencia de fallecer debido al impacto sus dos tripulantes y el avión quedo totalmente destrozado.
