El día jueves 27 de octubre del año 1949 en horarios de la tarde un avión de modelo y matrícula sin identificar, perteneciente el Aero Club de Salta, cuya tripulación estaba compuesta por el piloto Rolando Czenki; y lo acompañaba el Dr Mazza y el Capitán retirado Osvaldo Ibarra. Por causas no aclaradas se precipito a tierra en la localidad de Luis Burela del departamento Anta, provincia de Salta, noroeste de Argentina. A unos 200km de la capital salteña. El avión se incendió ante el impacto contra la tierra falleciendo sus tres ocupantes.
