SUBSTANTIALLY DAMAGED 29/02/1988. RIGHT HAND SKID STRUCK METAL SPOT MARKER. AIRCRAFT ROLLED ONTO SIDE. NO INJURIES TO THE 2 PERSONS ON BOARD.
DURING PRACTICE AUTO-ROTATIVE LANDING, RIGHT SKID FOULED RAISED EDGES OF METAL RUNWAY MARKER. SKID BROKE OFF AND HELICOPTER ROLLED ONTO ITS RIGHT SIDE.
CAA CLOSURE: OPERATOR HAS DISCONTINUED PRACTICE AUTO-ROTATIONS TOWARDS MARKER SPOTS AND WILL REPLACE METAL MARKERS WITH SUNKEN CEMENT OR CHALK MARKS.
REGISTRATION G-BNBT CANCELLED BY THE CAA ON 27/11/1989. REPORTED SOLD TO FRANCE AND REBUILT AS F-GILS [RE-REGISTERED AS SUCH 07/12/1989]
