Ex-RAF Tiger Moth T7799: first civil registered as G-ALTW on 13/6/1949. Written off (damaged beyond repair) 5/11/1969 when crashed on landing at Panshanger, Hertfordshire.

Despite being (apparently) written off, sold on to a Christopher John Musk of St. Albans on 5/3/1970. Whether this was for an intended rebuild, or for spares use, is not clear. Nothing further known except for the fact that the registration G-ALTW was belatedly cancelled by the CAA on 7/9/1981, almost twelve years after the crash.
