Narrative:Auster J/5B Autocar, VH-SNA: Written off (damaged beyond repair) 24 December 1962 when crashed and overturned in a landing accident at Richmond, Queensland. According to the summary from the DCA Report into the incident:
"During the landing the aircraft bounced and the pilot's recovery action resulted in the aircraft overturning".
Note that several sources quote the date of 12 January 1963. However, that date was the date that the registration was cancelled, some three weeks later.
