Narrative:A-6E Intruder BuNo. 158539/'AA-512' of VA-35, US Navy, based on board the USS Saratoga (CV-60). Damaged on combat operations January 17 1991: During Operation "Desert Storm", Hit by missile over Iraq. Flew back to carrier. No reported casualties to the two crew.
Later repaired and returned to service: by 1993 back in service with VA-304, US Navy, Withdrawn from service to AMARC as 5A0122 July 27, 1994.
