The aircraft impacted the terrain while performing touch-and-go landings at Wm 'Tiny' Zehnder Field Airport (66G), Frankenmuth, Michigan. The airplane sustained substantial damage and was partially consumed by the post-'impact fire. The two related occupants onboard the aircraft received fatal injuries.
