El día 8 de enero del año 1938 un avión civil sin identificar perteneciente al Aeroclub de Tucumán en horario de la mañana estaba piloteado por el Sr Federico Boba estando acompañado del Sr Rómulo Condolucci, cayo a tierra entre las Estaciones Bella Vista y San Felipe. Según se pudo constatar, el motivo del accidente fue por el piloto volaba a muy baja altura con el objeto de saludar a su madre que estaba pronta a partir en Ferrocarril. El Sr Boba fue rescatado entre los escombros del avión con fractura de ambas piernas en gravísimo estado mientras que el otro tripulante sole tenía heridas leves.
