Shot down during a bombing raid on Munich, Germany. All seven occupants died in the crash. The are six British RAF members and one Australian RAAF member.
The deceased are: John Colin McIntosh Rose (RAAF) ; Frank John Fisher (RAF), Gordon Thomas Hawkins (RAF), Peter Laird Donald (RAF), William Edward Ryan (RAF), Edward Jack Smith (RAF), Frederik Trimmer (RAF).
