Narrative:Following a loss of engine power during a missed approach procedure, the aircraft ditched to the waters near Annette Island southeast of Alaska's Ketchikan International Airport. The plane sank, but the two men on board were able to swim the approximately 200 yards to shore.
The aircraft submerged, sustaining unknown damage, and the two pilots onboard received minor injuries.
The weather in the Ketchikan area this day included heavy snow and strong winds.
