Narrative:
Vickers Wellington Mk.X NC566 "52-V" of 51 Squadron crashed into the Marmara Forest while on final approach.

One of the crew was the airplane commander, Lt Commander George Joseph Michel Baron (43): Death certificate drawn up at Port-Lyautey on 17 January 1946 and transcribed in Perpignan on 18 February 1946. Reason for death - killed on active service.
