First registered (C of R 4468) on 24.11.33 as G-ACKU to De Havilland Aircraft Co Ltd., Stag Lane Edgware, Middlesex (aircraft based at Hatfield, Hertfordshire). C of A 4094 issued early in 1934. Sold on and re-registered to Wrightways Ltd., Croydon Airport, Croydon, Surrey. Sold on and re-registered to Union Founders Trust Ltd, Croydon. Sold on and re-registered to Mutual Finance Ltd., Croydon

Sold on and re-registered to Advance Air Lines Ltd., Croydon. Sold on (C of R 8465) on 22.4.38 top Anglo-European Airways Ltd., Croydon. Registration cancelled 1.5.39; aircraft withdrawn from use and stored at Croydon (probably after C of A expiry).

Sold on and re-registered (C of R 8465/2) to Commercial Air Hire Ltd., Cardiff, Glamorgan on 18.1.40. Civil registration G-ACKU cancelled 7.7.40 after being impressed into Military Service as AW172. Service with 110 Wing, RAF and 7 AACU (Anti-Aircraft Co-Operation Unit)
