Narrative:
c/no 1515: DH.60M [Gipsy I engine #1102/A105861] Taken on charge as K1203 by the Base Training Squadron, RAF Gosport (Coastal Area) 26.4.30.

Written off (destroyed) when crashed into the garden of a private house at Hillhead, near Lee-on-Solent, Hampshire 28.11.31; aircraft failed to recover from aerobatic manoeuvres and went out of control. Possibly entered into a loop at too low an altitude for recover, and dived into the ground. Both crew on board killed...

Flying Officer John Burslem Mackenzie (aged 22) killed 28.11.31
Flying Officer Arthur George Teideman (aged 21) killed 28.11.31; In March 1931 he had been posted to No.465 (Fleet Torpedo Bomber) Flight at Gosport.
