Narrative:
A hangar fire at Brasschaat Airfield, Belgium destroyed six or seven of the ten gliders of the Brasschaatse Zweefvliegclub.

Photos show that a Piper PA-25 Pawnee towing plane (OO-TUG) and a Grob G-102 Astir CS glider (OO-ZWZ) are relatively unscathed.
A single-engine piston plane with a blue engine cover burned out completely. The status of the other gliders inside the hangar has to be established.

According to the website, the Brasschaatse Zweefvliegclub operated the following additional gliders:
- Grob G103 Twin II OO-YBY, OO-FRA en OO-YBC
- Schempp-Hirth Janus CT OO-KDB *
- Rolladen-Schneider LS7-WL OO-YEI
- Grob G102 Jeans Astir D-5132
- Schleicher Ka-8B OO-ZDT *, OO-ZAV * en OO-ZZV

* OO-KDB, OO-ZAV and OO-ZDT were observed active/undamaged at EBBT in September 2018.
