Following a loss of engine power, an experimental Europa (built by Richard L. Stockton) force landed to farm field terrain south of Yolo County Airport (KDWA), Davis/Woodland/Winters, California. The airplane came to rest inverted, sustaining substantial damage, and the sole pilot was airlifted to hospital.
