The helicopter crashed and there was a post crash fire. The pilot was killed.

“The helicopter sustained an in-flight break-up,” the initial AAIA report said. “No distress call was made by the pilot.”. “The debris trail of the helicopter ... was scattered for about 500 metres. It began near Lam Kam Road and finished at the fuselage impact point,” the report stated.

Shek Kong Airfield is the former RAF Sek Kong. ASN defaults to 'Sek Kong Air Base'.
