Narrative:"Chilean" airplane ditched near the port of Pimentel, Dept.Lambayyeque during flight from Burbank, CA to Chile. Pilot Manfredo Sams Burgel and co-pilot Guillermo Soto Ovalle salvaged by fishing ship "Almirante Guisse". Operator as "companhia chilena RAPSA" in report. Type not reported. Ferry/delivery to Taxpa Chile ?
Note: Taxpa operated two C-46A CC-CCP/CAC (may be in later years). Also B-25 or Piper PA-23 Apache possible
