Max Air Flight NR2092 was a charter flight from Jeddah--PrinceAbdullah Air Base (JED/OEJN), Saudi Arabia, to Minna Airport (MXJ/DNMN), Nigeria.
According to a statement by Max Air the aircraft encountered "heavy torrential rain with unstable winds" on approach to the runway. The airline also stated the ILS signal was unreliable and that one of the engines hit the runway on landing.
Authorities claim the ILS was properly calibrated.
