El día 30 de octubre del año 1930 a las 08:00hs a la altura de Cañada de Gómez, provincia de Santa Fe, el avión Dewoitine D.21C-1 matrícula 27 de la aviación del Ejército Argentino piloteado por el Sargento Alberto Torres que formaba parte de una escuadrilla procedente de la Fabrica Militar de la provincia de Córdoba con rumbo a la Capital de Buenos Aires, el piloto sufrió heridas al momento de decolar. El Sargento Torres fue atendido por el Dr Pérez Colman que se hallaba próximo al lugar del accidente y fue llevado a un sanatorio cercano al lugar del accidente. Quedo fuera de peligro. El avión quedó con el ala izquierda y el motor totalmente destruido.
