c/no.6335; Registered as G-AEGS [C of R 6936] 13.5.36 to Iraq Petroleum Transport Co Ltd, Haifa. (Gipsy Six engines #6577/6578). C of A 5497 issued 7.8.36; delivered via Malta 17.8.36.

Written off (damaged beyond repair) when overturned in forced landing near Affuleh (Afula), Palestine 30.12.36
Upon landing in adverse weather conditions (reportedly a gale), the twin engine airplane went out of control, overturned and came to rest upside down. Six persons on board - Pilot and five passengers. Two killed - High official and an engineer of Iraq Petroleum. Three other British passengers and pilot injured.

Persons on board:
John Eskdale Little (44) killed; He was an Accountant-Oil Controller with Iraq Petroleum Co.
Nachum Papper (49) killed: He was a senior official of the British Mandate in Palestine
E J Downing injured (pilot)
W Hayward injured (mechanic)
Mr. Rutherford (passenger) injured
J Walker (passenger) injured

Registration G-AEGS cancelled 31.12.36 as "withdrawn from use"
