Narrative:
Following a loss of engine power, the aircraft experienced a runway overrun during the subsequent attempted return to the point of departure at Sierra Sky Park Airport (E79), Fresno, California. The airplane came to rest inverted off airport property, sustaining substantial damage, and the sole pilot onboard was not injured.
