Takeoff at 21:03 hrs for a bombing operation against Braunschweig in Niedersachsen.

The aircraft was shot down by night fighter pilot Feldwebel Walter Rohlfing of the 9./NJG 3, who had taken off from Schleswig airfield at 22:44 hrs in Junkers Ju 88 G-1 D5+FT.

Those who perished rest in the Hannover War Cemetery.
