Feindflug (operational sortie). On this night, RAF Bomber Command raided Stuttgart (Baden-Württemberg) and an oil target at Wanne Eickel (Ruhrgebiet).

The aircraft was shot up in aerial combat, the crew evacuating the Junkers by parachute. The Bordfunker was injured in the process.
