Narrative:
On 13 January 1943 the Hudson I T9322 of 1(C) OTU RAF stalled, crashed, and burst into flames while taking off from Silloth airfield on a local night flight. Suffering multiple injuries, all four crew members died before they could be taken to the station hospital.
