F-AFBB: Latecoere Breguet 14 Torpedo (202) first registered January 1923 (C of R 1006) M Latecoere, Toulouse; operated by CGEA (Compagnie des Grands Express Aériens) on cargo/mail contract, being routed Alicante - Barcelona - Toulouse.

Written off (destroyed) when crashed following engine failure on take-off from Alicante 25.4.25; a few minutes after takeoff from Alicante Airport, while flying at low altitude in bad weather conditions, aircraft hit a lightning rod, stalled and crashed in flames near the Paseo Martires de la Libertao, north of Alicante. struck rocks & destroyed by fire; pilot Raoul Berjaud, 1 crew (Émile Lempereur, mechanic) & 1 passenger killed. The weather was very bad at the time of the accident as another pilot of the company refused to do the flight. He was replaced by Raoul Berjaud, Station Manager, at the last minute. Registration F-AFBB cancelled June 1925

Note: date also given as 25.5.25 but there was another landing accident at Alicante that day
