Narrative:
The aircraft, flight G3-1714, took off from the Brasília-Presidente Juscelino Kubitschek International Airport, bound for the Rio Branco-Plácido de Castro International Airport.
During the cruise phase, the aircraft showed an 'engine oil filter bypass' indication for engine #1. The checklist for this indication was performed with engine power being reducted by the crew. However, it was not enough to solve the problem. Consequently, the crew shut down the engine and declared an emergency (Pan Pan) and decided to divert to Porto Velho-Governador Jorge Teixeira de Oliveira (SBPV).
