Written off (damaged beyond repair) 27.2.32: Aircraft was operating a cargo/mail flight (routed Santiago–Buenos Aires– Montevideo–Recife–Natal–Dakar–Casablanca–Alicante–Toulouse–Paris). While flying along the Brazilian coast, off Guarapari, crew encountered poor weather conditions with thunderstorm activity, heavy rain falls and turbulence. Aircraft crashed into the sea and its debris and all three dead bodies were found on a beach of Sarita located in Setiba four days later, on March 2.
