Narrative:On 20 February 1943 during a combat mission, Yak-1 of 32 GvIAP was shot down in Air Combat near of Staraya Russa, Novgorod Oblast by Hans Beißwenger from 6./JG 54.
St/Lt Alexander Dmitrievich Aniskin was killed.
He was posthumously awarded the title of Hero of the Soviet Union on 22 February 1943.
