Delivered to Western Mining Corporation Ltd of Perth at the end of 1933 and was named "Golden West'. During 1933/4 MacRobertson Miller Airlines occasionally chartered Western Mining Corporation's D.H.84 Dragon VH-URG 'Golden West', when its own aircraft were not available.

Sold to Holymans Airways in 1934, it received the name 'Yuptana' when taken over by Australian National Airways in 1936. (All ANA's aircraft had Aboriginal names ending in "-ana").

VH-URG was sold to Airlines of Australia of Sydney in 1939. Written off (damaged beyond repair) when crashed and destroyed by fire at Wenlock, Queensland. Returned for landing immediately after takeoff due fire in port engine. No injuries to pilot, Captain Stewart G. Hack, or his 4 passengers. Aircraft written-off and formally Struck Off Register 18.2.1942 as "destroyed".
